Really nice folks, though. Bought a really unassuming fixer in a nice area, worked hard, hoarded money for a few years, and built their dream home on their property. But even if I liked them... I am ethically required to show this questionable interior lighting package.

It has a 98004 or west of Market feel to it, but these days it could be anywhere. I suppose better than one of the local money laundering/inheritance elite, then.
It’ll be interesting to see how hip this seems in 20 years. Those black industrial style fixtures throw one off a little, too.

Matte black and chrome do not mix in farmhouse colonial-st yle based new construction! Yet they all do it!!! It only works in post-modern contemporary interiors, and even then: the execution is everything.

The fake farmhouse thing has apparently become a fad among the rich and very rich alike, I have noticed several new builds in Medina/Clyde Hill. It must have been pushed by a trendy magazine or TV show. So unique, yet all the same.
It’ll be interesting to see how quickly the black shades become dusty.
